If your HTC device is out of warranty due to physical or liquid damage, or is outside its warranty period, we have a specialised HTC option to exchange the unit for a re-manufactured or refurbished unit of the exact same model and colour, at a reduced price compared to a brand new unit.
Your device must be a model sourced from an HTC-authorised NZ retailer, and must be in an acceptable condition for the exchange program, and must not have suffered "catastrophic" damage.
The replacement unit will come with a 3 month warranty.
On request we may be able to transfer data from the faulty unit to the exchange unit, but only if the data is retrievable.
If you would like to proceed with this option you can create an account and go through the checkout process, entering brief details of the fault in the Notes section. You will have an option to send the device to us at your cost, or if you prefer you can pay $10 for us to send you out a return courier bag. Alternatively you can bring the device directly into our service centre in Auckland or take it back to a Fonefix authorised retailer including Vodafone/2degrees or one of their nominated chain retailers (assuming you purchased the device from them).
